Independence, initiative, decision making, creativity, the ability to learn, relationships and feelings of self-worth - all have their beginnings in early childhood. We believe that each child is unique and, together with parents as our partners, we build upon children's natural curiosity and spontaneity, encouraging and supporting them as they take their first step into school.

St. Luke offers full day Kindergarten classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10 Fridays throughout the year. Your child can attend Kindergarten with Elk Island Catholic Schools in the 2018-2019 school year, if they are five years old on or before December 31, 2018. Registrations open January 15, 2018.  To register your child please go online here

Already a Student at Elk Island Catholic Schools (EICS)?

If your child is already a student with EICS, he or she will be automatically registered at the same school for the next year. Students returning to EICS after the summer break do not need to go through the registration process again.

Elementary, Middle, Junior and Senior High

If your child is transitioning between elementary, middle, junior high and high school, he or she will automatically be registered in the appropriate school according to the EICS boundaries. Please contact Student Services at 780-467-8896 if you have questions about the transition process.

EICS’ Registration and Student Information Form (RSI Form)
aligns with all government regulations. In addition, it asks parents for contact information to allow us to take advantage of technologies in our Division which are capable of sending daily phone messages or email messages to parents about their child.  These technologies (PowerSchool and Synrevoice) greatly enhance communication between parent, teacher and student. As a result, it is critical that current and accurate parent or guardian information be provided to us. For that reason, the RSI Form requests contact information such as email addresses.
