Staples School Tools Program 2019-2020
One to One Devices for Grades 4-8
At Elk Island Catholic Schools (EICS), our mission is to inspire success, confidence and hope in each student. As leaders in the use of technology, we encourage creative and innovative learning. Today’s students are already technology leaders. They want to take the technology they use in their daily lives and make it a normal part of their classroom experience. Research tells us that if we reflect this in their learning experiences, we will increase engagement which leads to improved student success. Find out more in this letter.

Already a Student at Elk Island Catholic Schools (EICS)?
If your child is already a student with EICS, he or she will be automatically registered at the same school for the next year. Students returning to EICS after the summer break do not need to go through the registration process again.
Elementary, Middle, Junior and Senior High
If your child is transitioning between elementary, middle, junior high and high school, he or she will automatically be registered in the appropriate school according to the EICS boundaries. Please contact Student Services at 780-467-8896 if you have questions about the transition process.
EICS’ Registration and Student Information Form (RSI Form) aligns with all government regulations. In addition, it asks parents for contact information to allow us to take advantage of technologies in our Division which are capable of sending daily phone messages or email messages to parents about their child. These technologies (PowerSchool and Synrevoice) greatly enhance communication between parent, teacher and student. As a result, it is critical that current and accurate parent or guardian information be provided to us. For that reason, the RSI Form requests contact information such as email addresses.
